I’ve already mentioned before whether my 3950x would work with an H150i, and the reply confirmed it would. Now a friend of mine is planning a build featuring a 3960x (excited to see it!) and a 2080 super with an H150i cooler. Is that sufficient to prevent throttling?

In theory a 360mm radiator works, but the coldplate isn't large enough for the Threadripper. I believe Enermax offers 360mm AIOs that fit Threadripper.

Also look into Enermax, since the Tech Jesus person has some clips demonstrating what's inside those products deteriorating. I believe there are at least two such videos showing them disassembling and releasing mold.

The H150i cold plate is compact, so it's not recommended for use with TR.

Our 2990WX performs adequately with the Wraith Ripper from Cooler Master. It’s not intended for overclocking, but opting for a dedicated solution would be better to avoid issues.
