Someone on another forum warned me against the Eagle because the Gigabytes B650 model experienced problems or coil whine. Does this situation persist now?

Occasionally, some boards work well while others don’t. Motherboard buzzing isn’t as frequent as GPU issues, and I haven’t faced it myself—even with several Gigabyte B650 Aourus Elite setups. My experience doesn’t cover the Eagle boards.

I'm not sure, I haven't checked every B650 board out there. In my 25 years building PCs, I've never noticed coilwhine on motherboards. I've used more than 100 boards. This isn't something I usually think about. I'm very sensitive to this kind of noise.

I doubt anyone can simply explain which boards avoid coil whine—it's not that straightforward. I haven’t felt coil whine on a motherboard before, and I wouldn’t worry about it during the buying process.
