You can remove the installers once the drivers are set up. The real driver files stay in C:\Windows. Other files can be deleted, though it’s not advised to play around with them.

If referring to installers, then yes. If talking about the actual .sys files in C:\Windows\System32, then no. Those files are triggered during startup; missing them means drivers aren't enabled and the hardware won't function properly.
