My MOBO runs on an ASRock X570m Pro4. My Ryzen 5 3600X is compatible and supports PCIE4.0. I recently bought a Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 2060 MINI ITX OC 6G (rev. 2.0). I also have an EVGA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER SC ULTRA. I'm checking if I can run both GPUs together, especially for applications like Davinci Resolve that benefit from multiple GPUs. I'm not sure how the PCIE slot specs apply since all my GPUs use PCIe 3.0. I was thinking PCIE1 for the 2060 and PCIE3 for the GTX 1650.

The third position will use PCIe x4 3.0 with a graphics card, which isn't perfect but acceptable for general use. My main concern would be the thermal management—you'd likely need a fan aimed at the cards, since having dual GPUs on the same M.X slot limits airflow.

What you're referring to is when something doesn't meet your expectations or preferences.

You could experience a performance drop of 10-20% from that card. Are you running the premium edition of Resolve? I saw that the free version lacks multi-GPU capabilities.

Do you think a 10-20% reduction will immediately affect rendering performance?

I own the same motherboard and still struggle to find two GPUs for posting. I notice the red VGA indicator whenever I connect either a 1660 Super or an older 1050 TI into the lower PCIE slot. My aim is to run two 1660 Supers. Has anyone managed to get two GPUs up and running? I'm using a Ryzen 3700X.
