It might be your monitor or screen cable failing. Consider switching to another cable. A possible RAM problem exists. Run memtest86 to check.

Completed memory check. It seems the issue isn't related to a cable or monitor.

It isn't sufficient to just run memtest86 or / and OCCT.

Certainly. Here’s a clearer version of your message:

You’ve seen many discussions online suggesting that a faulty cable would cause artifacting or cutting out, rather than issues like microstuttering or lagging. I plan to run a memtest soon, but I’ve already tested this on the same RAM a few months back—my results don’t support that idea.

While moving the mouse causes delays, possibly from the cable or hardware, it might also point to a CPU bottleneck. It could be a rare issue with just 1% of cases linked to the 6700k’s limited performance.

I purchased a new cable, which resolved the issue. Apex consumes a lot of CPU power and this occurs across all games. Claiming it’s due to rare low frame rates doesn’t make sense—it shouldn’t happen for a system that can handle those frames. The stuttering is clearly noticeable.
