Hey there, I noticed you're having no sound coming through the front or back jacks with your B550m Steel Legends. I've checked all the usual fixes—maybe a loose connection or a faulty cable. Have you tried testing with another device to see if it works? Also, could there be an issue with the audio output settings on your PC?

Ensure the front audio cable is fully connected. Also, install the necessary drivers. What other components are installed in your system? The rear audio ports on the motherboard tend to perform better, so consider using them.

I stopped paying attention to the front units some time ago, maybe due to a mistake from the user. I assume I've assembled numerous PCs, so I don’t think pushing everything hard is my problem. However, the rear ones aren’t working either. I’ve updated the BIOS, changed the chipset, and installed new audio drivers. All systems are current. Here are the details: Ryzen 7 3800XT B550M Steel Series 32GB (4x 8GB) Trident Z Zotac RTX 3070 850W PSU Gold Evga Bunch of HDD lol

Could it affect the performance of the front panel connectors?

All analog signals would disappear. If you possess optical output, it should function in theory as well.
