I just put together my new PC last week and installed Dota 2. The system specs look solid: an FX-8350 processor at 4.0 GHz, RX 7800 XT graphics, stock 8 GB RAM, and a 600W power supply. Everything seems normal except for the performance issues you're experiencing. When you launch Dota 2, it runs smoothly at around 120 FPS. However, during gameplay, your FPS fluctuates between 35-50 and then spikes back up to 120. This inconsistency is unusual. I've played other titles like NFS Most Wanted 2012 and Metro Last Light, which run fine at lower settings. Games such as Watch Dogs and Skyrim also show similar behavior—FPS hovers around 80-90 but drops below 40 and recovers. In multiplayer, Battlefield 3 stays stable at 90 FPS, though it dips to 30-40 at times. It's hard to say if the problem is my PC or the games themselves, especially since I consider my machine a high-end gaming rig.
Unparking seems to be a problem. Many videos indicate it doesn’t function properly on the FX 8350.
It worked for me, give it another shot. What else might be missing?
