I sold a fully functional machine equipped with a 7800xt, 5600, four 8GB DDR modules at 3200mt/s, a matx b550, two NVMe SSDs, and a 650W power supply. Before shipping, I played Cyberpunk 2077 for roughly two hours on high settings to verify stability—no problems detected. After updating the BIOS, restarting Windows, and resetting the drives, I activated EXPO and SAM, then powered off the PC. I packed it carefully with foam and bubble wrap, ensuring all components were well-protected inside the box, and added extra plastic padding in the outer case. When the customer received it, they reported it wouldn’t turn on—no fans, no lights, and no response when powering it up. Upon receiving the PC again, I immediately checked the graphics card and confirmed it was working properly. My instinct is that the PSU might still be faulty; I haven’t replaced it yet. Any advice would be appreciated.

Inspect every power connector and wire connected to the power button or front panel, especially if any were damaged during shipping. Reattach them carefully if needed. 2. Realign the CPU and RAM, verifying that the CPU pins and MB pins are intact. Ensure the customer hasn’t tampered with the components. 3. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, remove the motherboard from the case, confirm there are no shorts on the back pads, and look for visible signs of damage. If nothing is found, proceed with standard part diagnostics—test the CPU on another board or swap RAM to isolate the faulty unit. Also verify the power supply clearly, as mentioned. Consider removing the CMOS battery and resetting the BIOS just in case, though it seems unlikely if fans aren’t spinning and lights aren’t working.
