sooo .. im having a heart attack right now yesterday everything was fine, today no signal. restarted a couple of times and finally got output on the mobo from the igpu but no sign of even life from the gpu. not detected in bios. i literally did nothing. turned it off yesterday. turned it on today. nothing. any input on this at all or am i really gonna have to bite the bullet and now get one of them expensive new gpus? i felt so happy and lucky to have bought mine before this crazyness started

They did something unusual recently. It began with an unexpected shutdown without any cause. I realized earlier I had installed RAM adapters without realizing it. When I restarted, the BIOS reported the GPU wasn't detected. I didn’t manage to locate the issue in the BIOS settings. I bypassed it and rebooted, and everything worked fine afterward. That should help.

Take a deep breath. Disconnect the GPU. Reattach it. Retry

It seems you're asking about replacing RAM, even if you haven't handled it yet. That could be an issue...

DIMM slots sometimes don't secure properly and aren't clearly visible, leading to slight movement that can become an issue later.

The issue seems to be resolved on IGPU at the moment, with no memory problems. It appears as though the GPU isn't connected.
