No power detected. Lights and fans are off. You changed the power supply and motherboard yet nothing works. Even trying another outlet didn’t help. If it’s a graphics card or monitor, they should light up at least. Swapping the PSU and motherboard shouldn’t be the problem. Have you tried touching the start button instead of pressing it? For AVR/UPS systems, see if that resolves the issue. If possible, remove all components from the case and reassemble it directly on the motherboard. If your CPU has an integrated GPU, attempt to boot using just one RAM stick at a time, without any dedicated GPU. Try starting it empty—no drives or storage connected.
Consider removing the main body of the PC from its case and attempt to start it through the motherboard enclosure. There might be a wiring fault inside the case (additional clips can cause this), or the power button on the case could be faulty, which has occurred before. Use a screwdriver on the front IO power connectors to initiate the boot process. Do you rely on a power adapter or is it connected directly to a wall outlet? If using an adapter, is it powered on? I highly recommend taking the PC to a technical expert for a hands-on diagnosis.
I forgot to note that it’s been out of my case, sorry. It’s not something I rely on a PowerBar for. I’m considering bringing it to IT for a diagnosis.
According to the instructions, connect the power cord straight to a reliable wall outlet, avoiding power strips or extension leads. When the computer powers up on the motherboard, which of these indicators are visible (CPU, DRAM, VGA, or BOOT)? This helps identify any faulty hardware. If none of these lights appear, disconnect all unnecessary components—unplug every drive, both internal and external—and leave only one RAM stick connected. Reverse the connection of the motherboard and port. Should the integrated video be present, detach the GPU and restart. Once the splash screen appears, enter Setup (Bios). If no lights or fans are detected from the motherboard, the issue likely lies with the power supply unit, even after replacement. Alternatively, ensure all PSU cables are properly connected to the motherboard. If you reach the BIOS menu, enter it and test each hardware piece sequentially until a failure is identified.
