I switched the HDMI signal to my motherboard. Neither the graphics card nor the board is showing anything. I've tried three different cables that work. Is there a way to reset the HDMI output without seeing it? I only used the standard power cycle—turned it off and on three times. There’s no reset button on the board. It’s unclear how to proceed.

Check the settings in your operating system: for Windows, go to Settings; for BIOS, consult the manufacturer's documentation.

What CPU model do you own? It needs an integrated graphics unit if you want performance. If it lacks one, the motherboard ports won’t function properly. Make sure you can restore CMOS by taking out the battery if your board doesn’t have a dedicated reset switch—just power off and unplug it first.

Remove the CMOS battery for about 2 to 3 minutes, then reinsert it before connecting the PC. Push the clip to release the battery easily.

I think it was a bios setup. I did it a few months ago and didn’t have time to deal with it since it wasn’t my primary rig. Baldur’s Gate 3 came out and I wanted to get the PC running again for my girlfriend, lol. It has a 6800XT processor, so it should be fine enough. Hope it works!
