In short, I was replacing my GPU and thought updating drivers would help. I used ddu, started in safe mode, removed the drivers, but now nothing shows on the screen. I’m blaming myself—I should have been more careful. My motherboard isn’t an option since I have an RX 5600 XT. I also have an RX 6700 XT and an MSI B550 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi. I’m on Windows 10 64-bit. I really wish there was a way to fix this or undo it. Thanks for your time.

It seems unusual. You see a boot screen but not Windows. Plugging in the old card should resolve it. It should function without drivers, though it retains legacy features.

There’s no screen, no display, not even a trace. I used the old card, but it still doesn’t show anything.

Even the boot screen is missing? That suggests a different issue. Could be related to the power supply unit. I’d attempt to detach the GPU and shut down the PSU. Then remove the CMOS battery for five minutes before trying again with another card. If that doesn’t help, test the cards on another machine or use a different PSU.

It occurred during upgrades from GTX 980 to GTX 1080, then again with the RX6700XT. The issue was with the ports—HDMI and DP failed, but DVI worked consistently. I connected via a DVI-D to HDMI cable and installed the proper drivers. If possible, try that; otherwise, test HDMI or DP, depending on what hasn't been tried yet.

Great resource! Consider using HDMI and test with a single monitor first if you add more.

Thank you! I'll test them and share updates here. Your Corsair RM750 is set up, and you're using dual monitors with one HDMI and one DP. Let me know how it goes!

PSU should be okay unless it's dead for any reason. I'm confident the fix by @Senzelian is working. Just test one at a time.

I attempted the CMOS setup but it didn't work. I also tried using a single monitor, which didn't resolve the issue. Now I'm looking for a DVI to HDMI dongle solution and plan to test it with my old GPU.

Do you receive a signal in BIOS? If yes, verify the CSM setting since it may clash with both GPUs; Windows usually shows the standard adapter but in extreme cases you might need to reinstall.
