Decided to upgrade my setup with a 3090 and was puzzled by the display issues. Symptoms include black screen after Windows loads, repeated attempts to switch monitors, and eventual GPU shutdown when the system is running. After replacing the PSU with a new Corsair unit, the problem persists. I've removed unnecessary components, tried different GPUs, changed cables, and even reset the GPU, but nothing resolves the issue. Seeking advice on further troubleshooting steps.
I also experimented with adjusting the resizable bar options. It doesn’t appear to have a significant impact. Additionally, I completely overhauled my system by reinstalling Windows, but it didn’t bring any improvements.
The board has received 15 bios updates since launch—have you made sure to update it?
Yeah absolutely! That's my bad I neglected to include a few bits of information. My BIOS is at the latest stable version: 2806. A newer release is available, but it's still in Beta. I'm also running Windows 11 Pro 64bit edition, currently on 22H2. Have tried Windows 10 22H2, but had the same issues
