Are you sure the display is configured properly?

It seems the issue is related to using DisplayPort in BIOS, and HDMI doesn't work for you.

Which kind of computer are you using? A few monitors don’t support the lower resolution shown in the BIOS menu. Fortunately, these are uncommon. However, this might be the issue. Consider using a different connection between your PC and monitor. Retry the process. The BIOS menu appears only on one screen. If other devices are linked to your display outputs, it could be causing the problem. Even a home theater receiver without a display might show something. Unplug all other connected devices from your display ports, leaving just your monitor connected. Clearing the CMOS can also assist. It’s always useful when troubleshooting the BIOS menu. Providing details about your hardware and monitor type can help identify the cause. Do you have any additional devices attached to your display outputs?

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X paired with ASRock B450m Pro-F G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-16GTZR Trident Z RGB XFX Radeon RX 570 on a LCD monitor. It starts up in Windows, auto source is enabled. During startup, pressing delete shows a black screen, then the monitor switches to HDMI 2, followed by VGA, back to HDMI 1, but no signal appears. Restarting brings normal Windows boot with a black screen.

It's a desktop setup. You only have this monitor, and it’s the only one connected. I attempted to reset the CMOS, but it didn’t help. AMD Ryzen 5 3600X on ASRock B450m Pro-F with G.SKILL F4-3200C16D-16GTZR Trident Z RGB XFX Radeon RX 570. It also shows a PS4.

I didn't attempt to show the display port; I'm using HDMI instead.

Have you used this device before, or is it your first time encountering it?

Computer not working properly. Have you tried plugging in the HDMI while using the black BIOS screen? (HDMI can be hotplugged) Have you tested your PC with both HDMI inputs on the monitor? I think the PS4 functions correctly. The issue seems to occur only when in the BIOS window? Try a different HDMI cable. If you have one for your PC and PS4, just test using the PS4 cable.
