A few weeks back I experienced a crash while playing a game. After restarting my audio program (Realtek), it stopped working. I reinstalled the latest driver from Asus, but the volume slider is now present and the sound remains inactive. Whenever I attempted troubleshooting, the message "Audio Services not responding" appeared. I followed the provided guide, but nothing resolved the issue. I suspect my onboard audio had failed, so I purchased a new sound card (Asus Xonar u7), installed its drivers, and it now appears under Playback devices, yet no sound is produced. The volume slider still isn’t working, and when I try to fix it, the same error persists. I’m struggling to find a solution.

You see a list of devices connected to your computer through audio inputs and outputs in Device Manager. These include speakers, headphones, microphones, and other audio-related hardware.

No, I didn't attempt to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
