I'm still using a GTX 770. I plan to upgrade soon, likely when Pascal arrives. It'll mainly be for games released in the next couple of years, not because I urgently need it right now.

I owned a GTX 660 and accidentally dropped a water bottle on my GPU, causing it to burn. Luckily, my tax filing was due soon, so I upgraded to an R9 290x. It wasn’t necessary, but I sold the older model since it didn’t handle the heat well in FL. I upgraded to an R9 380 because it matched my requirements perfectly. I won’t upgrade anytime soon unless more VRAM becomes a bottleneck or I land a higher-paying job that lets me save for a better build. My goal is to accumulate a lot of savings so I can invest in a top-tier system next year.
