For anyone facing this particular motherboard issue (or similar ones without debug LEDs), I discovered a fix. The key was buying a 4-pin POST speaker from a three-pack, which is affordable. Connect it to the front panel header, noting the positive and negative sides using the product details. Then start your PC—your speaker will emit beeps, indicating whether the problem was resolved. Check the motherboard manual or search online for the meaning of those sounds. In my situation, a loose DisplayPort cable caused the issue. Also, it’s possible Newegg sold a used board; the BIOS mentioned a new CPU being installed, which lowered the price from $150 to $60.
