So I use my PC a lot and it’s really important to me. Yesterday I tried to open Photoshop but got an error about glu32.dll. Unluckily, I didn’t look up the code and went to Microsoft’s forums, which suggested deleting that file. That was a mistake. After restarting, I ended up stuck on the loading screen—nothing happened unless I pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL, revealing the four icons at the bottom right: Lang, network, help, power—but no login screen appeared. I tried the troubleshooting mode to restore my system, but it failed again, saying it couldn’t access a certain sys32 file. I decided to reset everything except my files. The Windows reset worked and the install completed, but I was still stuck at the loading screen until I pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL. Still no login prompt, just those four icons. Thanks for any help you can provide! See you soon!
To get back in, consider using a SAM's remover which will clear all passwords from the system. This should allow you to log in immediately and use the account. You can then move files off the PC to an external drive, format it, and start fresh. I’m not aware of any other method, but this approach should work.
