I've encountered issues with the Netgear WF2190, as it frequently dropped connections and required manual fixes. I'm now seeking a more stable model with higher performance—ideally supporting up to 180Mbps over Ethernet. After checking Amazon, Newegg, and Memory Express, most options had unreliable reviews. Could someone suggest a better alternative?

USB networking isn't always reliable, in my view. I've rarely heard positive comments about USB adapters, particularly AC versions that often overheat. I prefer PCI Express and have used both Asus and TPLink products regularly.

I’d prefer a PCIe Wi-Fi card, but my graphics card occupies all the PCIe slots on my motherboard. That’s not a viable choice for me.

It functions well without external antennas. I've consistently selected models with built-in antennas and never experimented with those lacking them.

Thanks for the feedback. I finalized my choice and bought the Meross AC1200 about a week ago. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074FRM...UTF8&psc=1. Although Meross isn’t widely known and none of you suggested it, I’ve done my research and decided to go with it. It includes a 3-year warranty (per the Amazon page) and costs significantly less than other AC1200 adapters. So far, it’s performing well enough for my internet connection without any signal drops. Appreciate all your recommendations! You’re all great!
