No power, dark screen, CPU debug indicator on
The PC stopped working during a video call and noticed the CPU debug light was lit. I tried fixing it by reseating the CPU, power connector, and RAM, even using RAM from another working machine. Nothing resolved the issue. Eventually, I returned the CPU for replacement, installed the new one, but it still wouldn’t boot—only the debug light appeared. After a few months of upgrading the CPU and updating the BIOS, I’m left wondering if the socket is damaged or if the motherboard needs replacing. Could be either, but I’d appreciate some advice from others. Thanks!
