I've faced problems with my PC for some time, mainly a white dash appearing on the left top screen. I tried all fixes but gave up and swapped the motherboard. After that change, the white line reappeared again, but after rearranging RAM in certain slots it disappeared. Still, it won't boot properly. Your setup details are noted for reference.

Some cards display a white dash on the screen through the GPU BIOS as well. The top-left area typically highlights any bios indicators. Have you checked another GPU before swapping your motherboard?

But it starts? Look for a BIOS upgrade for both the motherboard and graphics card.

When the machine starts up, the screen doesn’t appear as expected, even though you’re correct that updating the motherboard BIOS is something I should attempt. One reason I changed the graphics card was to flash the mainboard using the button.

You need to proceed carefully. Since you're on the Windows installation screen with the SSD unplugged, restarting now might not work properly. Wait until the installation completes and the system boots normally before trying any further steps. If issues persist, consider checking the installation progress or seeking additional support.

I attempted to start from the SSD, but it triggers a blue screen with a sad face indicating a Windows error. How can I fix the SSD?

I understand, I solved it during my mowing session, by the way!
