Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice. Last week I participated in ACC (assetto corsa competition). My setup has remained stable for over 18 months. Around the 20-minute mark at race’s end, audio disappeared, followed by loss of force feedback. The game continued running but then the computer powered off completely. No overheating signs or thermal problems were noticed. Since then, there are no fault tones from the internal speaker. When the system restarts and powers up, all fans—case and GPU—work properly, though video output isn’t displaying. I’ve tried several fixes: reset the PSU, removed the battery for a day while working, booted with no memory to check the internal buzz speaker, and replaced a CPU. I also swapped in another GPU and reset the BIOS on the new PSU. The CPU did overheat quickly (shutting down instantly), so I suspect either the motherboard or the CPU itself may be faulty. My current specs are Ryzen 5 3600, OC up to 4.2GHz, stable for at least a year. Hardware: Asus Prime X570-P, XFX Radion RX 6800, 32GB Corsair LX3600, 3600MHz RAM, two M.2 drives. PSU: Corsair CX600M now Seasonic 750W.
I faced a comparable problem with an ASUS STRIX B550-F board and a Ryzen 5600x. Initially, the system performed well under stress tests and with my 3070Ti, I managed 1440p Ultra Cyberpunk2077 without any issues. The real trouble arose when playing Call of Duty games like Warzone or Cold War; the system would abruptly shut down without warning. It wasn’t a BSOD or a shutdown logo—just as if the power supply had been cut. After a fresh install, a new PSU, and no improvement, nothing indicated a problem. Only after replacing all components with another motherboard (MSI Tomhawk B550) did I regain stable performance in COD. While my experience differs from yours, it seems the issue might relate to your MOBO. I’m not certain, but switching parts could have resolved it. I obtained a warranty on the board and sold it back once I received it, which helped me out a bit. Your situation may be similar, though the root cause remains unclear.
