I just started breadboarding my new PC build since there was no POST when assembling it. Still, I didn’t see any post when trying to power on the motherboard without the CPU. The mouse lit up and there were no fans, but with the CPU connected, the mouse stayed off. The mouse light didn’t work even when I powered it on without RAM. I’m guessing the issue is with the CPU or the motherboard. I also don’t have any spare parts and tried moving the RAM.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
I believe I spotted a Thermaltake Smart PSU there; you should swap it with a more stable model rather than something that acts like a fire starter.
Also, when sharing troubleshooting threads, it's standard to provide your complete system details. Please list your build specifications clearly, such as:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Add the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also, mention the BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.

I'm unsure about the exact BIOS version of the motherboard. I purchased it from someone who had a Ryzen 5 1500X, so it should be compatible with a 2600x. I might consider swapping out the PSU, but I'm trying to find the issue that's preventing the PC from starting. I've used many Thermaltake models and they've generally worked well for me, as long as they don't cause any fire hazards.

The 1500x version predates the 2600x. The bios might require an update. Do you have the 1500x?
