I believed if players line up they'll be assigned to the player with the highest rank? Played on my alt and won against 2 MG1's as Gold 3... clearly I'll win since my main is MG1, and they were aiming to boost 2 GN1's. They seemed like suspicious players and the team reported them, but we still outplayed them and moved up to GN4. Is MM still working or has it changed? It seems 2 MG's vs Gold 3 is a bit unusual.
Changes are happening quickly to MM and ranks. Many positions are moving lower, aiming for a more balanced skill distribution—middle ranks now reflect average abilities. These new levels are called 'Nova' ranks, previously in the Master Guardian tier. Currently, the system is a bit confusing as everything remains mixed, but it should stabilize soon. The valve part is still not very clear.
