I just installed a new PC but haven’t seen it boot. The CPU is an i7 14700k, RAM is Corsair Dominator DDR5 6200 with 32GB, motherboard is MSI Tomowhak Z790, and it has Wi-Fi and M.2 SSD. I updated the BIOS before powering on. There’s a weird screen tearing issue on my monitor, which I’ve used before, and I know it should work normally. The MB shows no lights, suggesting something is wrong.

Disconnect the GPU and reset the CMOS. Attempt to link the monitor directly to the motherboard to check for functionality. If no response occurs, it may indicate an issue with the cable or display device.

It seems there may be a display-related problem, possibly due to an incorrect display mode setting.

switched to a different monitor and the display appears correctly now. I’m using both monitors on my old PC without any issues.

Consider using HDMI if available.
