Hello! I attempted a system reset after facing another problem, but now I’m unable to send any output to my monitors. I’ve verified the inputs, adjusted my DisplayPort cables, replaced the memory module, and even re-seated the GPU. The monitors now display “No signal detected” and require a key press to activate. I can’t reach the boot menu or enter BIOS settings. I tried booting from a Windows installation USB, but the PC still doesn’t transmit any signal.

Recent events: I wiped my boot drive and installed Windows 11 after a system corruption incident. After a game crash (Warframe), I ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic, which revealed memory issues. The PC functioned normally until I enabled sleep mode, after which the Ethernet connection failed (a persistent issue). My inputs and display would freeze and then reset. Currently, I see a persistent red light during startup lasting about 20 seconds, suggesting a RAM problem. If the system was operational before, I’m unsure why it’s not now.

Hardware details:
- CPU: MSI X570-A Pro
- GPU: MSI 1660 Ventus 6GB OC
- RAM: GSkill Ripjaw 2x16 DDR4 @3200 MHz
- Power supply: Corsair 600W Bronze rated
- SSD: WD Blue 1TB
- Monitors: Two Dell P2213 models

It seems your RAM has stopped functioning properly, which can affect not just performance but also gameplay and software operations. You should check each RAM module separately to identify the faulty one. It might also help to reset the CMOS if you haven't done so already.

I submitted a return request yesterday following the diagnostic test, hoping it might resolve this issue. It’s uncertain how to confirm if it’s the root cause or another problem I might face again. Appreciate your feedback.

You also gain access to 4 slots. Uncertain if sticks break in pairs, but it could be worth attempting to try each one individually.

If the RAM is problematic it may lead to various complications. It could also indicate a faulty board, so I recommend checking each stick separately to determine if just one is defective. If possible, use a spare kit. Try to identify the issue before proceeding with a return or replacement. I’d prefer to hold off on filing any claims until you’re certain which component is faulty.

It might be the board; I went to Best Buy and bought new RAM, but the motherboard is still displaying a red light for the CPU.

to ensure proper operation after swapping RAM, you must reinitialize the CMOS.

It's almost a game-breaking situation. Some MSI boards require removing the CMOS battery for about 30 minutes and draining capacitors (press power button for 30 seconds before reinserting the battery). My B350 mortar went through that process, except for a few issues, but it still worked.

I’ll attempt that now, since those are the only parts I can change and would be a hassle.
