She recently got a new ITX setup for her fiancée, aiming to surpass her laptop performance. The system includes an i5-9600k processor with Gigabyte Z390, an Aorus Pro iPSU, and an Evga 3070 XC3 display. She also added a second monitor using an active DP to VGA adapter. For the older screen, she opted for a new one without DisplayPort but with HDMI, DVI-D, or VGA options. To avoid extra cables, she tried enabling integrated graphics via HDMI and adjusted BIOS settings—switching VGA support to Auto instead of EFI. The monitor only recognized HDMI initially, showing no image despite the cable change. She’s concerned about missing something and wants to keep BIOS unchanged without further adjustments.
Use DisplayPort adapters to connect to HDMI or DVI devices, along with the necessary cables.
We plan to handle this if we can't resolve it before the stores open tomorrow. We also attempted to fix it earlier this evening.
