I removed the bolts from the back, but one came out correctly while the other is different. After taking them out, the front pins were removed, yet the part doesn't fully engage from the female side.

The device probably uses a retention mechanism to secure the GPU inside. You must release this lock, typically by pressing down on it. A few components will move away from the slot.
