I'm facing an issue with my EVGA FTW3 hybrid GPU pump. Do you know if anyone has a spare from their water cooling setup or any tips on handling this situation?

Which GPU? They developed several iterations of this. If the pump malfunctions, you can simply sever the loop pipe and attach a pump plus reservoir to it. Be sure to detach the pump cable from the GPU during this process.

It's the only solution to fix it. This part doesn't work with other coolers except "universal" ones, so it's better to sell it as a broken pump and get another used one. Probably cheaper too, since 2080Ti performance is now very affordable.

Confirming compatibility with a FTW3 air cooler and checking PCB differences.

I’d consider wrapping the GPU with a zip tie and opt for an air cooler instead.

The VRM requires cooling, making it a less favorable option. Consider adding a new pump from a used AIO or selling it. Edited October 19, 2025 by thrasher_565

It's a minor issue. I own the same card in my LAN rig and also have a dead pump. The AIO is a standard Atek model that can be swapped with an older Kraken X52 series. The pump cover matches the original EVGA design and can be installed directly using the same mounting hardware—no changes required. Just use a used first-generation Kraken X52 or a similar model with the flat, low-profile pump. Other AIOs using the same mount may fit, but they might not sit properly under the shroud. That's why the Kraken X52 is suggested—it fits the shroud correctly. It does require some work to align the tubes through the holes, but it's achievable.

Sure, I can handle that. However, if no one has an air cooler, I’ll install it myself.
