No one is testing with Windows 10 for GPU evaluations
I don't recall the evaluators reviewing backward regarding OS usage during AMD's driver problems.
Many earlier GPU evaluations were performed on Windows 8... redoing them on Windows 10 would require more time. Testing on Windows 8 is simpler. .... Windows 10 is expected to have some issues for a while.
There’s no noticeable performance gap. Drivers aren’t ideal for the W10 yet, and some problems remain. It’s best to keep using the 8.1 model for a while before the 10 is completely ready.
They only needed it for DX12, not sure if it's fully launched yet.
I don't share that view. W10 doesn't appear to have issues; it simply favors AMD over Nvidia at the moment.
AMD appears stable with a slight improvement from WDM 2.0. Nvidia might still face some reliability problems, and it could take time for more reviewers to adjust their testing configurations.
