Refusing to purchase or distribute the game isn't the solution. The best way to pressure Ubisoft is by completely disregarding them. Piracy merely provides them with justification to enforce harsh digital rights management rules. It also signals that you still value their products, supporting their practices.

Usually copying the game isn't the right solution because it just shows Ubisoft doesn’t care about PC players. I won’t play it or watch any videos of their games until they fix things. Far Cry 4 seems okay at first, but I won’t easily forgive them. Perhaps I’ll buy it when it drops for less than ten dollars in a couple of years.

Feeling let down by UBI's recent stance, I'm unlikely to purchase. It might be worth waiting until next year when it drops to $5.99.

Using your wallet for voting is a two-way deal. To complain about poor development, you need to be prepared to give back when something great happens.

I don't wish to interact with their financial interests. Not a single copy, not even unofficial.

Stealing a game isn't a proper way to express dissent. They earn huge profits from sales so piracy has little impact. Avoid buying or using the game. Developers must realize they don’t enjoy poor-quality titles, and they won’t purchase or consider weak games.

The player is targeting ACU, though many reports suggest FC4 could be a strong contender.

It seems like a really great game. I enjoyed Far Cry 3 a lot, and while Ubi has faced some criticism lately, I’m feeling drawn to Far Cry 4.

It’s unlikely I’ll purchase it unless the price drops below $20-$30. Otherwise, I’d consider getting a crack to avoid using Uplay. That depends entirely on how well the game is received. If it’s not good, I won’t buy it at all.
