Verifying if anyone plans to explore Solus and the Budgie DE, even though package support is limited.

It's essentially a solid build from scratch. Their software collection seems to be expanding at a moderate pace. Nevertheless, despite that, I appreciate the concept and the overall approach. It doesn't really differentiate itself from other distros out there. Right now, I'm leaning towards MX16, which is essentially Debian refined. However, I've experimented with several major distros over the past year. There are some good options available. Fedora25 comes to mind, though Wayland might be a bit challenging. As for Budgie, it has a nice appearance and ease of use, making it feel like a strong contender for a practical desktop environment. To my eyes, it should have been more like Gnome if it aimed to be a useful interface. Still, it needs improvement—especially in the application launcher menu. After all, personal preference plays a big role here.
