People are familiar with Macs having Thunderbolt ports. My Mac also has them, and I own a Thunderbolt dock with two DisplayPort outputs. I'm trying to figure out if anyone has connected a Mac to a display using USB-C alt mode. There seem to be some confusion between Thunderbolt 3 DisplayPort and USB-C alt mode DisplayPort. I'll clarify: I already have Thunderbolt, and it functions properly.
