what strong gpu you should get for 1080p?
you're getting 70 to 120 fps, and rtx is enabled.
gamer nexus mentioned the games have high fps—check the link.
In 4K resolution you're seeing around 60 fps?/ High 60s in the low 70s outside? With RXT enabled or not?
the reason gamer nexus mentioned the games have a lot of fps is to highlight their fast-paced gameplay. Check the link for more details.
It depends on the specifications you prefer. You can get by with normal or even du, but ultra is better. For ultra, at least a GTX 1070 would work. An Extreme GTX 1080 might be ideal, though it could be too demanding. Very high settings require a GTX 1070 i, and RTX needs a GTX 2070 since the RXT 2060 struggles with RTX.
RTX performance is unusual, so I'm doing another test.
RTX inside reads between 101 and 114, outside it's 86 to 111.
Frame rate is more interesting than the game itself.
Update: DirectX 12 didn't install correctly on my system.
After reinstalling, I got around 40 frames outside and in doors at 4K without DLSS. With DLSS, the frame rate increased by about 10.
The epic store isn't the main issue
I'm just not interested in having anything take up too much of my CPU or keep track of my running processes.
I have tested ME on two rigs:
Intel i7 4770K with Radeon VII and 16GB RAM at 3840x1080 Ultra setting
Intel i7 2600K with GTX1080 and 16GB RAM at 3440x1440 Ultra setting
The game runs smoothly overall, though it slows down in certain scenes. I remember framerates dropping to around 40 frames per second in some open areas of the Caspian Sea and Taiga.
I played it through the first time Rambo-style and ended up with a bad ending (remembering the moral choices in the Metro series that influence the outcome, especially since this game emphasizes character impact and consequences).
I also tried it again with restrictions and got a happy ending.
