I'm waiting calmly for it to arrive in my local time zone today. I'm curious to see if anyone else has tried it and what their thoughts were.
The demo is running a bit sluggish at the moment, but I think it will improve after the driver update.
It looks like the video quality is limited to around 60 frames per second based on what you're seeing.
I just gave it a spin. Everything seems fine! I connected my 920, adjusted the FF settings, and enjoyed the experience. The only hiccups were brief stutters while loading beautiful scenery—probably for the demo. I turned off Dynamic features and set everything in Advanced mode at its maximum. It looks great! Right now I can't check the FPS directly, but it's likely around 60 FPS. I'm hoping we'll unlock higher numbers in the full version. The sound design feels more immersive now, which is great. The only drawback is that it reminds me too much of Horizon with all the explosions and helicopters. That kind of flair doesn't fit well with a game focused on driving.
I investigated the issue and found the stutter comes from the afterburner and rivatuner running in the background. Disabling them made everything run smoothly. The main problem remains with the menu performance, especially around turn 10.
