Recently, my friends have been the (brain-dead) companions in ATOM RPG! It's a shame they keep dying so often... hmm.

I've only played a few online games before. I'm planning to play The Division 2 quite often in the coming months.

I hope all F2P developers would become more intelligent and implement separate matchmaking levels: paid, paid plus F2P. Creating an account and harassing those who pay seems foolish without real stakes. There could even be a sponsored hacker tournament each year, with part of the prize money coming from willing hackers.

If a share of Valve's earnings comes from cheaters reselling games, it might seem like the rivalry was supported by cheaters.

The absence of rentable servers in PC games today, unlike in the past, means you can’t remove cheaters or ban them from your game.
Online games have become more problematic lately. Still, I think there are a few that remain enjoyable.
Last year was the worst, which is my current biggest concern.

I continue to enjoy playing many online games, especially NBA 2K and CS:GO. However, at times I require a pause from the competitive nature. That's why I occasionally switch to single-player games.
