After 281 hours, £85 and almost a year later this game remains the biggest regret in my life, yet I don’t regret anything in my life. Some people still play it and enjoy it because I just do it out of habit and never find fun in it. It’s hard to believe that after nearly a year, the game is still in a poor state and doesn’t function properly. What really bothers me is how often CTE patches are released and how rarely the regular version gets updated—it seems like they’ve abandoned the standard game entirely. One thing I can say is it’s DICE’s fault, not EA, since DICE handles patches while EA is just a publisher.

Battlefield feels like an abusive situation when they say they’ll stop but then don’t, only giving you a brief pause before continuing the harm.

I'm not sure why the price jump to $25 feels like a small change compared to what's been there before. There are still issues, and the charges seem excessive. Who are they really?

BFBC2 remains the top choice for Battlefield.

I spent around 20 hours dealing with it, mainly because of all the problems. Even now, the lingering issues keep bothering me. That’s why I’m disappointed and wish I hadn’t bought it.

No problem. Those many people I've hurt would really appreciate it if I didn't exist. Rolleyes

I lost a beloved series, which sparked intense frustration. But please hold on to EA, not DICE. They control Dice and forced the release ahead of COD, wanting to launch it sooner. Dice required an additional 6-9 months. Still, I got the game, saw its flaws, and skipped the premium version. It's been months since I've played, and after the tough beta phase, BF is essentially gone from my experience.

I'll begin once it's functional. Usually on BF3 I keep a K/D between 1.5 and 3, but on BF4 it's tough to hit more than 1. The netcode issues have really messed things up. Plus, many maps look mostly black and white—almost no color left on some of them.
