I purchased a 500GB Crucial P3 for my Plex system, reducing cable clutter mostly and spending around $26. I mounted it directly on the board without any BIOS adjustments. After some research, I discovered I needed to disable CSM and there were conflicting mentions about Secure Boot settings. I reset the CMOS, disconnected all other drives so only the NVMe was active, but nothing worked. The BIOS displayed an error code F50. I tried a larger 1TB Samsung 980 drive intended for another build, but it didn’t help either. The board confirmed support for Gen4 drives, which wasn’t a concern for me. The price seemed reasonable, but I’m unsure if there was an issue or a hidden workaround I missed. I’ve invested about three hours troubleshooting—rebooting, changing settings, testing connections. It still isn’t working.

UEFI preferences are typically stored in the UEFI settings menu, not the traditional BIOS. Since your BIOS is from 2019, you might need to check for newer versions or consider updating it if available. A Gen4 configuration could be worth exploring, but it depends on your specific hardware and requirements.

Recent updates might require a change in peripheral settings. For NVME configurations, check the options available under peripherals.

I'll save the BIOS update for later. Currently it shows "No NVMe Detected." Hopefully, the update will fix that.
