No, not necessarily. Excessive undervolting can lead to poor audio quality or distortion.

I've been running my 7800x3D for nearly a week and a half using -25 fastest, -30 second fastest and -40 6 cores. It's stayed stable so far. However, I noticed some discussions suggesting that even with a steady voltage, undervolting might limit one or more cores from reaching their full speed. On the other hand, some say it can boost performance by reducing heat, allowing the chip to operate at higher speeds longer. Should I lower my voltage settings? It's possible this depends on the specific chip, and there might be ways to test if your settings are affecting performance. As a side point, your OCCT results show only 4.55ghz across all cores after 9 hours, which is below the single-core max of around 5ghz reported for this model. Cinnebench R23: 18253
The main concern is instability and/or reduced performance. I'm experiencing -0.205V with a +400MHz all-core OC, which seems unusual—I think I might have obtained the 1600AF for undervolting. OC only works properly at 1.4V and barely exceeds 4GHz. The system runs smoothly and performs better than the standard, as shown by Cinebench and 3DMark.
Completed at -20 fastest, -25 second fastest and 30 cores with a slight boost in performance while maintaining similar temperatures to the prior setup. Probably overvolted too much. Appreciate the tips!
