AM4 is present in Ryzen 1000 to Ryzen 5000 models, but the key consideration remains the motherboard's compatibility. The upcoming Ryzen 7000 series launches with a completely different socket, AM5.

Currently Ryzen fits only in AM4, but it should work on AM5 soon.

that approach isn't very promising. the 3600s are quite similar to earlier times and offer more value. the 5600s are gradually entering the market as well. the 2600s aren't a strong upgrade.
