I don’t feel confident with Kinguin either, as they’ve had issues before like removing games from Steam accounts.

I've always been smooth with G2A.

Kinguin functions identically to G2a in practice.

This product doesn't adhere to guidelines. Purchase at your own discretion; you're not acquiring a license and aren't receiving access to the software's rights. What you obtain is Kinguin bypassing and disregarding the regulations.

I haven’t encountered any issues with Kinguin (OS key, Morrowind, Oblivion...), though I’ve paid a bit extra for their Buyer Protection feature. For different software options, Kinguin works well, Bundlestars is preferable, and GOG offers a DRM-free experience.

they mostly follow the same business approach, and ethically the best choice is to avoid using them. both usually provide a valid game key, but how those keys are obtained raises concerns. it’s mainly about the fact that someone with no moral compass will succeed—someone might try any method to get access, whether by pretending to be a streamer, committing fraud, or stealing cards. it’s generally safer to purchase directly from the developers, as this supports their efforts and ensures you’re contributing fairly. in most situations, buying through legitimate channels is preferable, even if it costs more. there have been instances where developers actively resisted such tactics, showing they care about the process. TLDR: spend your money where it matters most—directly with the creators—to help them sustain the experience.

TotalBiscuit discussed it thoroughly. Still, aside from indie titles, the team isn’t catching much profit either.

However, the organization behind the entire project is the one that maintains the momentum. I completely understand how important this is for independent games or small development teams, yet the companies like EA and Ubisoft also require their own resources.

They might not think they need extra pay, but the team won’t gain much by skipping G2a/kinguin because they’re already getting compensated.
