No problem, the media player is present. The media center disappeared, but people were still using it. It vanished completely with Windows 8.

I have a media player. I upgraded from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro and now it works well.

You had to buy the Professional version, and then another update pack was needed for Windows 8, so I’m treating that as completed.
