No one seems to know the exact requirements for running No Man's Sky on PC. I'm currently using a 660 and am unsure if I'll be able to get smooth performance—possibly only low or medium speeds. I'm setting up my system mainly for this game, so my decisions will depend heavily on its performance needs.

I'll just keep my eyes on things until the release date. It sounds like a PS4-only title, giving you plenty of time to set up your system. A mid-range processor like an i5, 8GB RAM should work fine. This game might run a bit heavier since it builds environments dynamically. Feel free to share your thoughts anytime. I'm really excited about this one—it's likely my top pick for the season.

I question if PC will even notice that game this year. Perhaps next year?

It’s impossible to reach a well-informed conclusion about this matter just yet. I’d hesitate to take any action until the game is officially released, evaluated, and tested on a PC. You’re ahead by at least a year, maybe even longer.
