No Man's Sky
The planets are essentially planet-sized. The Dev mentioned you could fit 1 million players on one world, but they’d still be spread out a lot. Although sizes differ, there are countless large ones. A massive amount of them exists, making it nearly impossible to manage. There are plenty of excellent discussions with the Dev on YouTube—each one impressive in its own way.
Yeah I just heard about this late last night so I hadn't known it was already announced for PC. I think this game will be amazing if what they say about ti is true. Can anyone recommend similar games that are out? I havent tried Freelancer or this Gemini game that I saw on steam.
This game feels more like a strategy title than a typical RPG. If you haven’t played it, I strongly suggest giving it a try. It remains one of my top favorites. There’s some visual content showing how they create ships and creatures, but much of the explanation comes through dialogue. The scale is enormous, making it hard to predict exactly what will happen. They rely on bots to check each planet for unusual colors or patterns.
You just landed a freelancer gig last night and spent a few hours playing... that’s exactly what you wanted! Are there any other people offering freelanceR roles you’d be interested in?
Not much is known about this, honestly. At least there aren't any alternatives as impressive. After you master it, give the multiplayer a shot—it has a lot more ships and lets you purchase frigates and other high-end vessels. The mod enabling those features is called Discovery.
I was very enthusiastic about this title until they introduced their Sony Partnership. I think the game might be simplified now, losing some of the original concept they had in mind. It's still good to notice more space-themed games hitting shelves, though.
Galaxy on fire 2 feels like a mixed experience—X3 is tough to learn, and rebirth remains frustrating with many issues. It seems you’re limited to just one ship, but you can manage a fleet. I’m hoping for a big discount on rebirth; the game is still at full price.
