Check if you're using a public IP address or a private one. Make sure the computer's IP hasn't been altered.

I'm linking using the public IPv4 address and the computer IP remains unchanged, but there are no indications it's functioning properly.

Windows Firewall is turned off. Network Discovery is active. It's a private network setup. IP addresses seem fine. I'm struggling to figure this out. If it functioned before, I assume the issue lies in troubleshooting your network. Uncertain about next steps. Apologies.

Try again if you're unsure. It might work.

This might be a late reply, but I disabled my Avast firewall because it was managing the Windows firewall and it functioned. Friends could then connect afterward.

I overlooked the third-party antivirus might restrict network access, just like the Windows Firewall does. I’ll need to keep this in mind moving forward. Thanks for the solution!

I realized it when I tried to let Minecraft through, because the Windows Firewall was managed by Avast Premium Edition.
