I possess an I7 3770K in stock and Avast begins utilizing that level of CPU within five minutes after the system powers on.

Because you can always tell 100% of the time whether or not something has a virus. K. Like a normal person, I actually use one, I actually use Avast! Like OP. I do alot of surfing around the seedier parts of the web looking for very uncommon things, and downloading pretty questionable torrents sometimes, so instead of waiting for a virus to do its damage, I block it from ever reaching my computer, but I guess since you just happen to know what is safe and what's not at a moments notice, I could just call you any time I want to download something. K? K.

My processor matches at rest, which isn't typical.

I usually skip antivirus programs because I haven’t seen any that clearly explain what they’re doing. I also find it annoying when they act condescending and patronizing. Instead of fighting them, I just remove them and let my mind handle the detection. It’s simple—most of these tools don’t add much value. If everyone, from grandmothers to tech newbies, understood the difference between a reliable link and a click trap, a lot would change. Adblock already handles most of those annoying pages for me.

//www.malwarebytes.org/) to check for additional threats beyond Avast. Many viruses and malware specifically aim at antivirus programs first. If the scan shows no issues, remove Avast, restart the device, perform another scan, and then reinstall it.

Visit TPB to identify which options are completely safe and which fall outside the <100 seed range.

You might visit TPB because it offers a different kind of experience—something beyond just collecting viruses or browsing adult content. It caters to those who enjoy unique or niche platforms.

Looking into that project might be confusing, but I’ll search online. I meant it in a more nuanced way—not everything is strictly good or bad. You won’t always be able to tell if a site is safe or not 100% of the time.
