This seems likely to be a rumor at the moment. He accurately forecasted the Zen 5 delay spanning Q1 to Q3 2024 and has verified connections with both Intel and AMD. If correct... That would be a major blow for Intel, particularly after the Raptor Lake problems... By this point, it probably won’t get much worse for Intel.

Never rely on MLID, it's well-known for fabricating content and referencing sources that are either made up or misinformation from others. It's one of the most infamous spreaders of false information in the tech community, often deleting posts and claiming ignorance about certain claims. Rarely does it share accurate data, but due to how much information is tightly controlled, you'd lean more toward the misleading side of the story.

He isn't quite right, but it's fine. I'd rather not focus on him unless it's necessary, since every time I do, people start complaining. It's exhausting to keep explaining how intelligence and confidence levels actually work—this isn't about raw IQ, it's about the trade craft. Anyway, Beast Lake was already a long way off, so I couldn't even guess what it would be like. If the head chip architect had left, it would have been enough time to pause the project and start something new under a different leader.

He clearly has a strong personal bias, which is evident in how he reports things. This limits his reliability as a source of information. Whenever individuals express complaints, it’s likely there’s a valid explanation behind them.
