Only in IPC demanding titles do these things matter. I've noticed many using FX 8000 processors with GTX 1060/ RX 580 and still performing well. Those four threads can really constrain Ryzen CPUs in newer games too. It's usually better to opt for an FX 8350 and push it to a 9590. Your motherboard needs to be a top-tier 970 or 990FX to avoid damaging your VRMs.
