I just finished assembling this build and it functions well with the 4-pin connector. I reviewed several 1080p and 4K videos on YouTube, and everything worked smoothly. I also watched a few 1080p and 4K movies using VLC; there were no issues. The only concerns were with AIDA64 and Prime95 (using small FFTs). Temperatures stayed below 46°C when monitored with HWMonitor, and power reached a peak of 12W during testing. In the Task Manager, CPU usage was 99% in the report and 100% in the graph. The clock speed remained steady at 3.17GHz throughout the stress tests. My question is whether the CPU isn’t reaching its maximum capacity (35W). I’m considering using a 4-pin to 8-pin adapter as well, along with my Corsair RM550x, to see if that affects power output. I’m also thinking about tracking the power drawn from the wall in these configurations.
