My cousin made a trade offer. We’ll exchange my CPU and RAM for 1000 Php. (Think of it as a month’s electricity and water bill here.) My setup: Athlon X4 860K from GIGABYTE, GEN3. I mainly play Valorant while background apps like YouTube and Facebook run. When Valorant is open with Chrome, I get smooth performance—55 to 65 FPS. Running it at 70-80 Fps without extra apps works fine. He’s also selling his AMD clip for a 115X mount for 100 Php. I’m okay running Valorant at 60-70 Fps since my monitor only supports 75 Hz. I just want to play Valorant with Chrome in the background. Cheers!
This will represent a significant improvement. Your current Xeon model runs at 4 cores/4 threads from 2010, while this upgrade offers much better performance compared to your Athlon and is more than double the speed of the 1230-v2.
In both single and multi-core configurations, the Athlon maintains an advantage of roughly 15%, which remains disappointing given its age relative to the X5450.
Technically it dates back to 2008, with the desktop release in 2008, making the performance gap even more disappointing. The Xeon offers better stock speed, and at 3.6GHz compared to 4.5GHz Athlon: https://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cpu_...u_review/6
